Testing of Shifting Forms by Timaeus and Aniek de Rooij

Last week artists in residence, Timaeus and Aniek de Rooij, were testing the first prototype of their project Shifting Forms at Katoenhuis. Shifting Forms is an interactive XR installation, exploring the impact of melting permafrost and its ancient, unknown organisms. Blending science and speculative fiction, it immerses visitors in an interactive world where they form a symbiosis with evolving physical, auditive and virtual environments. We are proud to provide space and be a part of the longer research trajectory of this project, and looking forward to its final presentation!
